Condolences to the Queen and the British Royal family on the passing of Prince Philip yesterday.Prince Philip was a devoted patron of the Arts and hobbyist painter. He supported the Arts and access to culture via The Prince Philip Trust and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh 1921 - 2021"he has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I, and his whole family, and this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim, or we shall ever know.” Queen Elizabeth#princephilip #supportthearts #WorldFringe #fringefestival #fringeFamily ...

SAN DIEGO FRINGE POSTPONED to 2022Dear Fringe Arts Enthusiasts,I'm so sorry bring this news (again). - - - As a result of the pandemic, it is with heaps of sadness that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel all planning for the 8th (and now 9th) editions of the San Diego International Fringe Festival (for 2020 & 2021). As a result, all artists and their performances that would have been scheduled this June 2021, will now be postponed to present their works in June 2022. This is heartbreaking news for us to share. However; following guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC, we feel it is most important to take care of our artists, patrons, volunteers, and everyone else involved. Your safety comes first. In the meantime, when even more restrictions are lifted and the world returns to some type of normalcy, we will reboot. In fact, we will reimagine and rebuild the magic that fills the river of creativity. And, BOOM; that undefinable Fringe spirit that embodies all those that perform with us, work with us, and visit us, will soar with glorious renewed energy. The Arts & Culture Sector of our region, and FRINGE, will once again open its’ doors with renewed purpose.Until then, be well, be safe, & get vaccinated. We look forward to seeing everyone again. <3 With warm wishes to all,Kevin Charles PattersonFounder & Executive Director ___________________________2022 partially supported by the City of San Diego / Commission for Arts & Culture. With special thanks to our associations:World Fringe / Fringe Festivals (CAFF) / United States Association of Fringe Festivals (USAFF)#sdfringe21 #sdfringe22 #UnitedWeFringe #WorldFringe #FringeFamily #SanDiegoTheatre #SanDiegoDance San Diego Theatre Connection ...
