Fringe-y folks - Here's your June list of North American fringe fests with open apps 💚A small list this month, since we're in the midst of fest season. And I apologize that it's coming out so late in the month. I've been doing prep work for a possible return to travel in the Fall.(these aren't recommendations, just a quick full list of what's available)As always, more details at their individual websites or:- CAFF info at (or Fringe Festivals)- USAFF info at World Fringe at*Now Open*- Rochester Fringe Festival - apps due June 29th, in-person or virtual, costs $25-125, runs Sept. 14-25- Philadelphia Fringe Festival (FringeArts) apps due July 1st, costs $20 (plus any venue rental fees. This is an Edinburgh-model/bring-your-own-venue fest), in-person or virtual, runs Sept. 9-Oct.2- Free Fringe Philly- (no deadline given), no costs to apply, but show must be free or 'pass the hat' only, find your own venue, in-person or virtual, runs Sept. 1-30 - Louisville Fringe Festival - no costs or due date listed, in-person, runs Aug 4-8- Fringe North International Theatre Festival - apps due June 30th (slots first-come, first-serve), no fees, all virtual, runs Aug. 19-22*Still Open*- Hollywood Fringe Festival - no due date on applying, though individual venues will likely have cutoffs, virtual or (covid-guidelines compliant) in-person, costs $175-275 plus venue rental for in-person, runs Aug 12-29*Extras*- No extra events this month, but here's a link to a great panel about the current state & future plans of festivals all over the world, hosted by World Fringe as part of Brighton's 'Fringe Academy' series: #fringefestsMinion Productions ...
