Established in 1985 and now an annual fixture in BC's thriving events calendar, Vancouver Fringe is proud to parade its fine wares across the city with 11 days of boundary-pushing theatre from performance artists worldwide. From rollicking new theatre to belly-bursting comedy, awe-inspiring dance to lip-splitting spoken word and more, there’s something for just about everyone to get stuck into – with all artists guaranteed to receive 100% of the base ticket price generated by its audiences.
Vancouver Fringe holds membership with the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF). Membership includes participation in CAFF's annual Touring Lottery which offers selected artists their choice of placement at one of three Festivals in North America – with Vancouver Fringe being just one of the many possibilities to select from (participation fees still required).
